Spring Sports:
Initial deadline- Baseball, Softball January 31st.
***After January 31st a late fee will be added to the registration fee.

Final deadline- Baseball, Softball February 21st.
***If you still need to register as an FHSAA official please make sure to complete this prior to the final deadline by clicking the provided link, http://fhsaa.arbitersports.com/front/103524/Registration.

Exam dates:
Baseball, Softball – January 27-February 21
***Failure to complete the exam will result in being ineligible at all levels for the remainder of the season.
***Officials have one opportunity to complete the exam and can log in and out as many times as needed prior to the exam deadline.
***A score lower than the required 75% will result in an official being eligible for sub-varsity level only unless the association requests a waiver to the FHSAA office once the final scores have been provided to each association.

**GAMES ARE BEING ASSIGNED if you are not Registered with FHSAA and have not paid RCUA Dues

Membership dues ($45) may be paid in cash or checks made payable to RCUA.

Do not forget to register with FHSAA (link below). You must do this to take the rules exam (available January 27 – February 21.)

RCUA Members,

Get ready for field clinic #2!

The November 20th field clinic focuses on signals, mechanics, movement and proper positioning.

All RCUA members are strongly encouraged to attend…. even if your schedule requires you to leave early or arrive late.

The BB and SB fields are located at Christs Church Academy and both fields will be used. Dress comfortably and be prepared to move on the field (no plate equipment required.)

FHSAA Contest Official’s Apparel

The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and Smitty Official’s Apparel have entered into a three-year agreement to have Smitty serve as the exclusive provider of official’s apparel for the FHSAA. As part of the agreement the four vendors listed below have been approved to sell and distribute apparel across the state. FHSAA officials can begin purchasing apparel from the four approved vendors beginning on May 1st.

BASEBALL clinic for Saturday 28th will be at Bolles H.S at Noon (12-2pm)
Bring your gear, as live pitching will be available.
Dress for the cold, it will only be about 55 this day.

SOFTBALL clinic for Saturday 28th will be at Trinity HS at Noon. (12-2pm)
You have a intra-squad game, be sure to bring equipment.
Dress for the cold, as I know you SB guys may need your jackets and long john’s.

Also, we have a meeting scheduled for (2/5) at Union Hall which is Sunday at Noon.
Season is just around the corner, make sure equipment is right along with uniforms.
Use this Saturday as a day to make sure you are ready for the season. By now most of you should be set up on Arbiter for your scheduled games, please make sure your checking for updates on a regular basis.
