Our next membership meeting will be held this Sunday, February 20th @ 12PM

ALL members are strongly encouraged to attend!  The E Board welcomes your participation! 
 
    **You will be able to pay RCUA dues ($45), turn in availability sheets, and order RCUA    dri-fit t shirts ($18 thru XL  $20 XXL up) 
    
    ** RCUA will be running a 50/50 raffle $1 per ticket or $5 for six tickets 
 
Exam dates:
Baseball, Softball – January 27-February 21
***Failure to complete the exam will result in being ineligible at all levels for the remainder of the season.
***Officials have one opportunity to complete the exam and can log in and out as many times as needed prior to the exam deadline.  Log into FHSAA Central Hub thru your Arbiter account to access your test 

***A score lower than the required 75% will result in an official being eligible for sub-varsity level only unless the association requests a waiver to the FHSAA office once the final scores have been provided to each association.

Spring Sports:
Initial deadline- Baseball, Softball  January 31st.
***After January 31st a late fee will be added to the registration fee.

Final deadline- Baseball, Softball February 21st.
***If you still need to register as an FHSAA official please make sure to complete this prior to the final deadline by clicking the provided link, http://fhsaa.arbitersports.com/front/103524/Registration.

Thank you to the 43 members who have attended one or more field clinics this season. RCUA instructors appreciate your interest in developing your knowledge and skills!
Also, thank you to all the members who have paid their 2022 membership dues. The association appreciates your support and trust in our mission to provide the schools we serve with the best possible product on the field (that’s YOU!)

SOFTBALL UMPIRES- bring plate gear if possible, we will have live pitching available  **Information to follow for SB rules Zoom meetings
 
BASEBALL UMPIRES- the link to this Wednesday’s Rules Zoom meeting is being sent in a separate email.  
 
Members, you may complete and turn in these forms (attached below) at the clinic this Saturday.
  Membership dues ($45) may be paid in cash or checks made payable to RCUA.
Do not forget to register with FHSAA (link below). You must do this to take the rules exam (available January 27 – February 21.)

  • Attached is the 2021-22 Membership Form. Please complete and scan and return to this email address or bring it to the next clinic (give to secretary, Mike Everhart)
  • Membership dues are payable to River City Umpire Association                                $35 Returning Members  $45 New Members    
  • Checks may be mailed to 86147 Robin Rd, Yulee FL 32097 (atten. Roger Linville, Treasurer or cash / checks brought to the next clinic and given to the Treasurer 
  •  ($10 late fee applies to returning members at the end of  December)
